BURGER KING® Scholars Program criteria

Applicant must be a high school senior who:

  • Maintains a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or higher
  • Works part-time for a minimum of 10 hours per week or 40 weeks per year
  • Be actively involved in community service activities
  • Demonstrates financial need (1040 form required)
  • Plans to enroll in an accredited two/or four-year college, university, or vocational/technical school by Fall of the application year.

Coca Cola Scholarship 2010

Each year the Coca−Cola Scholarship Foundation awards a total of $3 million in achievement-based four-year college scholarships to 250 outstanding high school seniors from communities across the nation.  The Coca Cola Scholarship Foundation annually awards 200 Regional scholarships of $10,000 each and 50 National scholarships of $20,000 each.  The Coca−Cola Scholarship Foundation evaluates applicants on the basis of demonstrated leadership in academics, school, community and civic activities, as well as personal character and the motivation to serve and succeed.

Eligibility Requirements for Dean’s Scholarship 2010

In order to be considered for a Dean’s Scholarship 2010 a student must:

  • Be an entering freshmen.
  • Have a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.6.
  • Meet all current UO freshman admission requirements.
  • Have not have attended another college after graduation from high school.

Merlden’s flourishing co-curricular music program Includes orchestras, bands, choirs. Jazz bands and many smaller Instrumental ensembles. Merlden’s HSC music students have a record of outstanding results, with many being placed In the top band for compositions and performances. National and International music tours are held every three years.

Mcdonalds Scholarship 2010

Awards
Every academic year, the McDonald’s National Employee Scholarship Program selects one outstanding student-employee applicant from each state and the District of Columbia. They each receive a $2,500 scholarship. In addition, three student-employees judged to demonstrate the highest commitment to school, work, and community service will be selected and named “McScholars of the Year” and awarded a $5,000 scholarship.

Toyota Scholarship 2010

Candidates for the Toyota Community Scholarship must have a grade point average of 3.0 or better, be an effective leader, and have a well-documented record of service both within and outside the school setting, and plan to pursue an undergraduate degree in the United States. While academic performance is the prime factor in the selection process, the distinguishing characteristic will be the overall impact of the student’s contribution(s) in the area of community service. The student applying for this scholarship must have initiated or be actively involved in a service program addressing a school or community need.
