Experience Itawamba Community College – one of Mississippi's most progressive and rapidly growing community colleges. The most important factors in choosing a college are quality programs; a warm, caring and friendly environment; location and cost. ICC is ranked at the top in all these areas by both current and former students. On the Fulton and Tupelo campuses, there is a special closeness and concern that students just don't seem to find at other colleges.
The transition from high school to college is easy at ICC. Small classes, where you receive the attention that you need and taught by caring instructors will enable you to reach your full potential. Also, you will be involved in activities beyond the classroom that make your time at ICC a fulfilling experience. We are large enough to provide many opportunities for our students, but small enough to get to know every student personally and to bring out the best in them. At ICC, student success is our #1 priority.
Itawamba Community College is a two-year public supported community college dedicated to serving the educational needs of the residents primarily of Chickasaw, Itawamba, Lee, Monroe and Pontotoc counties in Northeast Mississippi. Its main purpose is to provide comprehensive educational opportunities of the highest quality through academic, vocational-technical and personal enrichment programs in order to meet local needs at low cost to students.
The college fully subscribes to the philosophy that the mission of the community college is to bring the concept of educational opportunities for all closer to reality. To support this philosophy, the college has an open admissions policy that provides qualified students an opportunity to pursue a college/university parallel Associate of Arts degree, a technical Associate of Applied Science degree or an occupational Vocational Certificate. In addition, students are encouraged to participate in special interest programs. The students receive academic skills and application strategies to assume their roles in society and in the work place. Additionally, residents within the district are presented special services and activities designed to promote economic growth.
